Audi Magazin Quattro Concept
work: CAD data preparation, VRED shading & lighting, scene setup, HDRI retouch, precomp
position: 3D Artist
role: 3D Artist
Project for the official Audi magazine. Based on moodboards and references from the agency and photographer. 3D scenes were set up in Maya with camera perspectives aligned to backplates. CAD data of the Quattro Concept was prepared for production. The car was shaded in VRED (shared with a colleague). In a main VRED scene, the car was referenced per shot with an automated shot-switching Python script for rendering. Lighting used HDR combined with reflection and fill lights plus light blockers. Precomp was handled by me; post-production was completed by my colleague and the post team. Tools: Maya, VRED, Photoshop.
